T N Krishnan (b. October 6, 1928) whose full name is Trippunitura Narayanan Krishnan is a Carnatic music violinist. Personal life and background... T N Krishnan was born in Chennai to A. Narayana Iyer and Ammini Ammal, both Carnatic musicians. He learnt music under Allepey Parthasarathy Iyengar and later Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. He was a Professor of Music at a music college in Chennai and later he was Dean of the School of Music and Fine Arts at the University of Delhi.
